CALLIE FAY NICHOLS
Callie Fay Nichols is an award winning Caddo producer and designer with a fierce attention to detail. Over the course of her career, she has gained experience in Producing, Casting, Production Design, Art Direction, Costume Design, and even Education. In 2015, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and Production Design. She loves creating immersive environments centered on the projects tone that completely envelop the audience in the story. Nichols has won awards for her designs as well as her skill in special effects make-up. Incredibly organized with a passion for hard work, she is able to create a workflow specifically crafted for each production that comes her way. Recently Nichols founded Five Penny Pictures with the intention to focus on intimate and detailed narratives told from a unique perspective.
ANDREW APPLEYARD
Andrew Appleyard is a writer and cinematographer with a background in business management and engineering. Raised in a military family he lived and traveled all over the United States and Europe before finally settling in Oklahoma. He is ARRI certified in both s35 and LF camera systems and in Lighting Fundamentals, learning and working directly with legendary Gaffer Morris Flam. He has experience in nearly every film department with credits as a department head in each category. Andrew and his wife founded Five Penny Pictures camera rental house in 2018 and subsequently began producing music videos, commercials and short films.
BLAKE PICKENS
Blake Pickens is an Emmy Award winning Chickasaw filmmaker. Blake began his career writing satire for the online division of the National Lampoon, where he published numerous featured articles. He was selected for the Time Warner Sundance Native Producing Lab and Fellowship and the Sundance Producing Fellowship for his film, The Land. The film premiered in 2016 at Sundance and was released theatrically by IFC Films in the summer of 2016. Blake has produced content with a focus on diversity and inclusion, ranging from feature films to commercials and music videos. He has produced commercials that have won a Grand Prix at Cannes two years in a row, and won a 2018 Emmy for his P&G commercial “The Talk.” He also won an MTV VMA for his work on John Legend’s music video, “Surefire.’ Blake is a graduate of the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC.
CALEB VESELY
Caleb Vesely is a Cherokee writer and filmmaker that has worked in film and broadcasting for 10 years. He began his career as a Camera Operator and Instant Replay Operator for sports and live shows. He graduated with a degree in film production and then founded Intellego Media, directing music videos and commercials before going back to University to study Screenwriting. Caleb will graduate from Falmouth University in Cornwall England in 2020 with his Masters Degree in Screenwriting.
